1. Where is Sterling Chess located?
We’re proudly based in Melbourne, Australia. Some of our products ship from our local warehouse, while select specialty items are delivered directly from our international partners.
2. How long does delivery take?
Most local orders arrive within 2–7 business days depending on your specific location. Items shipped from our international partner warehouses typically take 7–12 business days. You’ll receive tracking details for your order so you can easily keep an eye on delivery progress.
3. Do you offer express shipping?
In some circumstances, yes. If you have a specific deadline, contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.
4. Can I track my order?
Yes, absolutely. Once your order is dispatched, we’ll send you a tracking link so you can monitor its progress every step of the way.
5. What payment methods do you accept?

Yes. Every item includes a minimum 12-month limited warranty. This covers defects and faults under normal use. If something goes wrong, we’ll arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
9. What if my order arrives damaged?
If your item is damaged in transit, contact us right away at support@sterlingchess.com.au with photos. We’ll arrange a prompt replacement.
10. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do. Sterling Chess digital gift cards are available in a range of values and make an excellent gift for chess lovers.

Not at this time, but we’re exploring custom options and will update our community when available.

We sure do. Our collection includes Staunton-style tournament sets that meet FIDE standards and are used by clubs and professionals.

Yes. While chess is our specialty, we also stock high-quality backgammon, checkers, dominoes, cribbage, and other classic games.
16. Are your products handmade?
Many of our wooden chess pieces and boards are hand-carved by artisans. Each product listing includes material and craftsmanship details.
