Blake founded Sterling Chess out of a lifelong fascination with the game. For him, chess has always been more than a hobby. It is the perfect mix of art, history and pure competitive fun, and the physical set is a big part of that magic. He is the kind of player who can happily spend an evening studying an opening, then just as happily lose a casual blitz game to a mate and laugh about it. Blake handpicks much of the Sterling Chess range personally, always asking the same question: is this a set a real chess lover would be proud to own? Kurt
