Free Shipping Australia Wide
Shipping is completely free on all orders, with no minimum spend. Whether you are buying a single set of chess pieces or a complete luxury chess set, delivery to your door is on us, anywhere in Australia.
- No minimum order. Free shipping applies to every order, large or small.
- Australia-wide. We deliver to all states and territories, including regional and remote areas.
- Fully tracked. Every order is sent with tracking so you always know where your parcel is.
Order Processing & Dispatch
We know you are keen to play, so we move quickly. Most orders are packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of your order being placed. You will receive a confirmation email when you order, followed by tracking details as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
Delivery Times
Once your order has shipped, estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Metro areas: usually within 3 business days.
- Regional and other Australian addresses: usually 3 to 7 business days.
- Items from international partner warehouses: please allow 7 to 12 business days.
As a general guide, we recommend allowing around 5 business days for delivery. Timeframes are estimates and can vary depending on your location and courier demand, particularly during peak periods such as the lead-up to Christmas.
Order Tracking
Every Sterling Chess order is fully tracked. As soon as your parcel is dispatched, we email your tracking number and a link so you can follow its journey to your door. If you have any trouble tracking your order, just get in touch and we will help.
If You Are Not Home
If you are not home when your parcel arrives, the courier will typically leave it at the nearest depot or post office for safe collection. You will receive a card at your door, or an SMS or email, with details on how to arrange redelivery or pick-up. To help delivery run smoothly, please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

Premium chess sets deserve premium care. Every order is carefully packed in protective, padded packaging designed to keep boards, pieces and delicate components safe in transit, so your set arrives in perfect condition, ready for play or display.
Returns & Warranty
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. That is why every order is backed by:
- 100 day free returns. Change your mind? Return any unused item in its original packaging within 100 days and we cover the cost of return shipping.
- Minimum 12 month Australian warranty. Every product is backed by Australian Consumer Law and a minimum 12 month warranty against manufacturer defects.
