View full detailsSudoku works on a wall for a reason that has nothing to do with decoration. An unfinished grid is an open loop, and people cannot walk past one without wanting to close it. Put the puzzle where it is permanently visible and it gets solved in passing, a tile at a time, by whoever is walking through the room.
The Giant Sudoku board is 105 x 125 x 8cm of black metal, wall mounted. It uses two sets of number tiles: red tiles set the starting clues for a puzzle, and black tiles fill in the answers as it is solved. A puzzle catalogue is included with templates at easy, medium and hard, so setting up a fresh puzzle means laying out a new set of red clues rather than buying anything. A tile holder is included for keeping the unused tiles in order.
Because the tiles hold their position, the board keeps whatever state you left it in. A hard puzzle can run across a week of short sittings without anyone recording progress or resetting it, which is the practical advantage over a puzzle book.
Solo solvers, and households where a puzzle becomes a shared background activity. It also works as a turn-based group challenge, where the difficulty of the template does more to set the pace than the number of people involved. The three difficulty levels mean a newcomer and an experienced solver can both use the same board.
Made to order rather than held in stock, so lead times follow production. Contact the team before ordering and we will confirm the current timeframe.

Red tiles are the clue numbers that define each puzzle and are laid out from the included catalogue. Black tiles are the ones you place as you solve it.
Yes. A catalogue of templates is included, covering easy, medium and hard, so the board does not need anything bought separately to keep using it.
Mounting instructions are included. Wall fixings are not, because plasterboard, brick and timber each require a different screw and plug.
Yes. It is designed for solo play or turn-based group solving, and the board holding its state between sittings is what makes shared solving practical.
