Tower Series Brass 79mm Chess Pieces

The Tower Series is a set of chessmen made in solid brass and shaped like a row of tower minarets. It is a minimalist design, and there is nothing traditional about the way it sits on a board.

At 79mm this is a short king, but it is not a small one. Every piece comes down on a wide flat foot, so the army takes and holds a board with real authority.

Two finishes split the board. One army is silver and the other is an antique, dark grey brass, so there is never a moment of doubt about which side is which.

Every piece is made by hand, and the shaping is hand work as well. Small differences from one piece to the next are normal here, and they are part of what a handmade set is.
