The choice is about the room, not the game. The Giant Four in a Row Wall Game is fixed to the wall, takes no floor space and works as a wall sculpture between games. It comes at 105 x 110 x 14cm or 128 x 158 x 14cm, in black or white, with a disc collector that mounts below the board to catch the discs when a game ends.

The Freestanding XXL Four in a Row needs no wall and no drilling. At 135 x 125 x 27cm it stands on two side legs and plays at standing height, with 42 discs included. The rust-resistant metal frame handles sun, wind and light rain, and an optional custom-fit cover covers it through winter. It ships with the board assembled and only the side stands to fit.

Which one to buy

Buy the wall board if it is going in one place permanently and floor space matters. Buy the freestanding version if you rent, if drilling is not an option, if it needs to move between a living room and a garden, or if it is going to events. The Freestanding XXL can. Its rust-resistant metal frame is built for sun, wind and light rain, with an optional cover for heavier weather. The wall board is an interior piece.

Does the wall version need drilling?

Yes. Mounting instructions are included; wall fixings are not, because the right screw and plug depend on whether you are fixing into plasterboard, brick or timber.

What size should I choose?

The 105 x 110cm board suits a standard living room or game room wall. The 128 x 158cm board wants a larger, clearer wall and makes more of a statement across a room.
