You know it by the feet. The bases are fat and chunky, wide out of all proportion to the bodies above them, and the whole army is drawn short and solid, with nothing tall or tapered about it.
That is not a stylistic quirk. It is why the set is so satisfying to play with, because every piece sits down hard and gives you plenty to take hold of when you move it.
