The workshop has committed to the idea rather than hedging with a horse that merely looks fierce, and that is the reason this set exists.
Underneath the theme is a straightforward luxury Staunton, and a large one. The king is 120mm on a 46mm base, the queen 99mm, the bishops 91mm, and the whole set runs to 2,150g triple weighted. Turned collar rings cut below the crown and repeated on the bishops give the rank a shared vocabulary, so the dragon reads as a decision rather than a mismatch.
