Mogul Staunton 118mm Chess Pieces

Mogul is a large luxury Staunton in two timbers, and what it sells itself on is the way it behaves in a game rather than the amount of decoration on it.

The pieces are hand carved and triple weighted, and the whole design is aimed at balance: an even, well mannered army that is comfortable to move about for hours.

The king is drawn tall and the rest of the army to match, so the board looks full from the first move and stays legible right through a crowded middlegame.

It was made with two buyers in mind at once, the collector who wants a set worth keeping and the player who wants one worth using, and it does not compromise much for either.
