Moonlit Majesty 83mm Chess Pieces

The Moonlit Majesty is a compact luxury pattern, and the crown is where it declares itself: the king is finished with a half moon finial in place of a cross.

Below that the shanks curve instead of tapering straight, and every piece carries a grooved body that catches light differently as it turns. The pawns finish in a pointed ball top.

The knight has a lifelike horse profile with a finely combed mane, which is fine detail to hold at this scale.

It is a small set on purpose, and a light one as a consequence. Two timbers are offered, both against boxwood, and both include a spare queen of each colour.

The half moon is also how you tell the king from the queen, since the two stand close together at the top of the army.
