Tournament Staunton 71mm Chess Pieces

This is a proper tournament pattern shrunk down to travel size, and it is a far better thing to own than a novelty small set.

The shapes are the everyday German Staunton, simplified for durability, so there is nothing thin or fragile to snap when the set goes into a bag. That discipline matters more at this size than at any other.

With a 71mm king it suits a folding board, a small table or a shelf where a full sized army would take the room over completely.

It is for anyone who wants chess to travel with them, or who has no table space for a full sized army and will not settle for a toy.
